The Doddle

A poem about inspiration

It moves across the screen.

Rough, ugly, slow.

Still getting to know this thing.

An app to let me draw the lazy way.

Still on my back in the dark.

Little feet keeping me warm.

Who wants to get out of bed?

Not me. Not yet.

I have a rule.

Finish something new.

Something unfinished.

Do it before the rise.

Before the resistance.

Before you change your mind.
