I have a child. One. I work. I have a partner. We share. He does more. I love my alone time and my daughter. Its not one or the other. I'm not a traditionalist. I believe a human can be many things simotaniously. Most of my friends are child free. Some from choice, others from circumstance. Some are sad about it... Or made to feel sad about it. Its hard to know if what we 'want' IS designed for us. I often hear, 'are you going to have more kids'. Apparently one is just not enough even if your not child free.
